IRINA
As Irina, a part-time waitress in a small town, loses her job, her husband becomes crippled in a freak accident. To make ends meet she becomes a surrogate mother. Slowly, she discovers what it means to love and to forgive.
Nadejda Koseva studied at NATFA. Her debut directorial short The Ritual, part of the omnibus film Lost and Found, had its world premiere at Berlinale’s Forum, 2005. Shorts: Omelette (Special Mention, Sundance 2009), Take Two (Special Mention, Sarajevo IFF 2011). Irina is her feature debut.
